Financial Assistance 2024-2025
STREAM Academy empowers children by providing tailored instruction to each child's unique profile. Learning Forward Education Center understands investing in your child's education is a significant commitment, and each year we provide over $300,000 in need-based tuition assistance from the school's financial aid funds and Florida Step Up For Students.
All financial aid decisions are made based on financial need without regard to student's race, color, religion, ethnicity, or national origin. LFE Center relies on the truthfulness of the information provided in each application, and families who apply acknowledge their continuing obligation to notify the school if financial circumstances improve.
Income and assets of all parents/guardians will be considered and an award will not be bound by the statement that one parent/guardian has denied, legally or otherwise, any responsibility for educational expenses. If either parent/guardian has remarried, the committee will also consider the income and assets of the step-parent.
Financial Aid Procedures
To help us determine what a family is able to contribute to their child’s education, STREAM Academy utilizes LFE Center Board as a trusted party. Additionally, the financial aid committee will take into account unexpected family financial situations, the needs of our entire applicant pool, and the availability of funds.
PLEASE NOTE THAT A MONTH OF PAY STATEMENTS OR TAX RETURN WILL BE NEEDED IN ORDER TO MEET THE FINANCIAL AID DEADLINE OF DECEMBER 16, 2024.
To be considered for financial assistance for the 2024/25 school year, submission of all financial aid documents from all custodial, non-custodial, and step-parents (including uploaded 2023 Federal Tax Returns, all supporting schedules and forms, and W-2’s or 1099’s) SHOULD BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN DECEMBER, 16 2024. AVAILABLE FUNDS ARE LIMITED AFTER THIS DEADLINE HAS PASSED. Since financial aid is granted to students on the basis of need and availability of funds, awards are granted for one year at a time and must be applied for annually.
